It has only been 42 hours and it has been decided that the Council has appointed Jedi Knight Kinaya Jikiiti as the new Local Grand Master of the Yavin IV Academy.
Kinaya Jikiiti, 39 is Soo Laa's fifth Padawan. She hails from the planet of Shili. She's an inactive member of the Jikiiti Tribe, and is the daughter of the late Chief Tarabak.
Kinaya herself states; "I am deeply honored and touched that the Council feels that I should lead the Jedi Academy. I will do my best to lead, as my Master did."
This is the first time a Togruta has held the title of Grand Master in the History of the Jedi Order.
